2023 Updates

I booked and shot my first TV Co-Star in March for Only Murders in the Building. It was the best on-set experience I’ve ever had and it was really special to share this one with my mom, we both love the show and text each other after every episode with our guesses on whodunnit. Due to the SAG and WGA strikes, I was unable to post about the episode when it aired but I received many wonderful messages from friends, family, and even a former manager at my old day job and felt so uplifted during such an uncertain time in our industry. This photo was taken by one of my dearest friends who watched the episode with her husband when it aired at midnight in LA, did I mention I have the best friends?

Wrapped a short film I produced with Don, Pat & Tom. Epinephrine, starring, written, and co-directed by Crosbie Theodora Roper will be ready for festivals in 2024. This project was many years in the making and such a labor of love for all involved, I can’t wait for everyone to see the world that Crosbie created! I won my first ever award for my work in the short film Sophie’s Choices at the Mindfield Film Festival this spring (as did my amazing directors, go team!). Sophie’s Choices has also been an Official Selection at The Austin Comedy Film Festival, Coney Island Film Festival, and the Eastern Oregon Film Festival. We made this short for close to nothing and shot it in 5 hours, it’s been exciting to see it be included in the festival circuit.

I am over the moon to be a new member of Actors Equity Association! Like many actors, joining the union was a major milestone for me and am so grateful for the opportunity.

Had an amazing shoot with Shani Hadjian Photography, I can’t recommend them enough! It had been four years since my last headshot session and yo, it was TIME. I went full-blown Capricorn and put in hours of work to achieve each look - including 6 playlists - and had a total blast.

2019 Updates

Holy COW y’all. Spring/Summer 2019 has been one for the books and by far the most fulfilling creative time in my career thus far. I cannot wait to see what the rest of the year has in store. Here are some highlights from the past few months.

I shot an original short with newly formed Bad Guru Productions. It was the first time a role was written for me and I had the best time working with friends old and new! You can watch the whole thing in the Reel/Clips section.

Wrapped up our Advanced Scene Study class at ESPA/Primary Stages. Friendships were formed, Maria Mileaf challenged me in all the best ways, and Judy Henderson was the best guest we could have asked for at our last class. Color coordination for this photo was completely accidental.

TwelfthNight129.jpg

I made my regional debut in Twelfth Night with Shakespeare on the Sound and picked up the guitar for the first time in years. I was so nervous to play in front of an audience but I pulled it together and can’t wait to strengthen my music skills for future productions!

I starred in another original short with Bad Guru Productions in July. Sophie’s Choices was written and co-directed by my dear friend Lily Narbonne - the woman can do it all. Stay tuned for more! Bad Guru will be filming 4 more original shorts this fall.

Don, Pat & Tom premiered our original production leaves at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and 59E59 Theaters East to Edinburgh Festival. It has been a dream of mine to do a show at the Fringe since I was 15 but never imagined that I would be producing the damn thing! It was one of the most rewarding experiences and am so grateful to be a part of DPT with some of the most badass, caring, and talented women I know.

And here we are after closing night of leaves with Mom aka our chrysanthemum puppet. Edinburgh was a blast, I saw so many incredible shows this year (Manual Cinema’s Frankenstein, Lucy McCormick’s Post-Popular, and Sh!t Theatre’s Ex-Pats were some of my favorites) and am honored to have been a part of the festival. If you haven’t been - WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?

After an eventful 5 months of rehearsals, shows, and filming - I went to Greece! This girl needed a vacation. This photo has no filter - Greece really is that gorgeous.
